Nowadays most people use laptops and pcs for their computing needs, when you purchace you should take good decesion while checking configurations. Now new brand models come with SSD type hard drives. So do not confuse on that now we are going through about differences of SSD and HDD drives.
What is an HDD?
Hard Disk Drive(HDD) were first introduced by IBM more than 60 years before. Basically HDD uses magnetism concept to store data on a rotating platter. HDD performs depends on spinning of platter. Today Laptop drives spin at either 5400 RPM (Revolutions per Minute) or 7200RPM, some server based platters can spin at up to 15,000 RPM. The major advantage is capable of storing more data very cheaply. Cost per gigabyte is only around $0.10 / GB for HDD drives today. If you want cheap storage and lots of it, using a standard hard drive is definitely the more appealing way to go.
This solution only for windows based operating system. OK come lets go.
1. Click programs and open run dialog box.
2. Type gpedit.msc command in run dialog box.
3.Then popup window will open, in this window do following action,
Select
--> Computer Configuration
--> Administrative Templates
--> Network
--> QoS Packet Scheduler
--> Limit Reservable Bandwidth
In this dialog window by default not configured has been choosen, You just select Enabled button and then set bandwidth limit '20' to '0' then apply and ok.
This is it. Now you should restart your PC and see the difference of internet speed in your PC.
Note : It will increase your 20% speed. For more speed internet you should have High Speed Internet connection.
